HI, I AM LAURA.

And I am your personal yacht and villa chef.

I began my culinary career in 1993 in London. From there, cooking shoulder to shoulder with amazing chefs, I discovered different cuisines and approaches to food.

 

In 2001 I started to work on amazing sailing boats learning how to deal with a constantly challenging environment and changing types of ingredients available.

 

Well versed in preparing ethnic food using the freshest ingredients, I enjoy creating unique dishes that blend unexpected flavour combinations.

WHAT MAKES ME SPECIAL​

I’m able to work as a sole chef for different guests with different needs.

 

Using the freshest, local and seasonal ingredients I love to bring the full flavour of every single element to a dish.

 

For me cooking is a holistic process, paying the dishes I prepare the respect and love they deserve.

 

I believe food is the primary step to gaining a healthy body, soul and mind. By what we eat we can make a real difference to our unique Mother Earth.

EXPERIENCE & LICENSES

Over the course of my career I had the chance to cook in many different environments: In mountain lodges over 2.000 meters high; in slow food restaurants where I would only cook on a wooden stove of the eighteenth century; on one-design sailing boats around the world taking care of a galley over the polar circle up to the north pole …

 

Nowadays I am based in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, and it is time for me to offer my experience and approach to food as a private yacht and villa chef on a freelance basis. Feel free to reach out and tell me your needs.
